Dear Internet,
I need your advice! The other day I was digging around under the sofa and found an old friend of mine, monkey hamlet.
What should I do with him?
Kind Regards,
Me.
I think this probably deserves a little background. About a year ago I heard about a technique called rasterbation (no puns please), which is basically a way of blowing up any picture in the same way newspapers do, by using different size blobs to represent different shades of grey. Here is a detail:
I think at the time I had a couple of different ideas, including:
- Hang him on the wall
- install him in a hard to reach public place
- make him into a placard and take him out to a protest (note that monkey hamlet is mounted on very sturdy card, and could be waved around just like a proper placard)
One thing that was definitely not on my list of plans was to leave monkey hamlet under the sofa, so oh wise and wonderful internets, what should I do with him? Bear in mind that Monklet is over three feet tall, so he isn't very easy to transport.
As promised in the comments, the originl monklet image is here
