A Little Known Fact About David Copperfield

by CMB

When David Copperfield was little he swallowed a hovercraft fan. Always one to make the best of a bad situation he learnt how to use the fan to levitate by dislocating his jaw and blasting a supersonic wind from his mouth.

When NBC tried to film a family friendly magic extravaganza featuring the astounding illusions of Mr. Copperfield the reaction of the studio audience to his ungodly ability was so unnerving that they had to cut together footage of David flying with footage of a completely different audience. The horrified wails, terrified screaming, panicked fleeing and loss of all bowel control in the actual audience was deemed "family unfriendly" and so could not be shown in the 6pm Saturday slot.

David's alarmingly deformed face and massive fan blades are hidden on television with clever special effects and lots of makeup.

If anybody else has any little known facts about David Copperfield I would like to hear them.

late edit: I should perhaps specify that the above facts came from a dream two nights ago, and after talking about David Copperfield at coffee I couldn't get it out of my mind.

That said, I don't think dreams are any less a valid source of information than "experiments", "observation" and "logic". I still stand by the above story as literal fact. Much like Genesis
