I spent last weekend in Edinburgh. Lots of interesting things there and I have hundreds of photographs that will appear in a later post. For now though I'll just show what happened when Gem and I were walking out of a museum.
Oh my! what is this?
It seems to be a dinosaur and and astronaut, just sitting alone on the steps outside a museum. Other than the dinosaur and astronaut there isn't a single person in eyeshot. Interested to see what they're doing we walk up and say hi. It turns out that they are waiting for a tour bus, which arrives pretty much on cue. Hilarity ensues.
Dino really struggles to get on the bus, it takes him abour five attempts with the astronaut pulling him by the arm.
Finally he makes it and the tour bus takes them off for new and exciting adventures. The whole encounter lasted, at most, 30 seconds and it felt like the sort of scene that would have appeared in one of Salvador Dali's short films.
